hmmm, looking under the bottom lip on the front bumper of the car this morning and noticed a few scrapes. Can you get any rubber guard / protectors to run under the front that you know of?

ohh that sounds like a good idea, i stupidly drove into a multi storey and had to park at the very top cos of lack of spaces, fine getting up there, on the way down the bottom of the bumper touched the floor at the bottom of every slope no matter how i approched it, so painful :(

i quite often visit my local town where the only parking is multi story. im a new bmw owner myself and recently came from a 2003 fiat punto which i quite literally threw around the place without a worry but when i took my e46 330d up it was all ok but i came down a bit to fast i guess and the bumper scraped quite a bit. luckily enough no damage was caused but there is scratches underneath and as my car is lowered on m-sport suspension i can not avoid scraping the bumper down hill. but i will be looking into finding a protective strip myself.

also the small sharp speed bumps are my worst enemy everytime i go over 1 it bumps down on my front mudguards. its a crime these days to have a slightly lower than normal car. im debating wether or not to remove the front and rear mudguards but they also protect from stone chips. so im in 2 minds at the moment.

lol so its not just me then, i have a steep drive and no matter how i approch it i seem to catch it on the way out . Work have a speed bump on way to car park too which is touch and go .. This sport suspension is obviously just a fraction too low.

Now i just need to find something to stick on

my the drive is the worst lol, i live on a hill and the house is lower than the road so the drive way points down towards the house, with the back wheels on the road and the front wheels on the drive the skirts touch the pavment :( unless i get the exact angle correct at the slowlest of speeds
