    Hi guys

First of all, my 1st post so bare with me pleease
And secondly, helllooooo to all I'm just so chuffed (cheesin while writing this) that i've found a decent BMW forum full of Legend's that LOVE BM's as much as I do

OK here goes, finally after a looong time & a lot of saving (having to pay parents digs everytime i'd have some money & giving my car fund to sister for her wedding :( lol sisters who needs em eh lol) I have finally become a BMW driver once again yaay me

Now that I finally have my new baby (cnt stop smilin, if you see a guy driving around in his BMW with a BIG cheeser, that'll be me ) I wanted to upgrade the standard headlights to Xenons but also, above all, ANGEL EYES

I was wondering if ya'll could offer up some advice on the specs etc. I should be looking for when buying these. I Google'd Xenon Conversion Kits but there's sooo many it literally made my head spin, almost Excorcist style lol.

What I would mainly like to know is, is it possible to get Xenon Angel Eyes?
And if so or even if not, what should I be looking for & which are the sexiest looking? As I know there's several types you can get (colour wise) ie. black, chrome etc.
Links etc. would be a great help.

Any help would be much appreciated guys.

    Many Many Many Thanks

    Asif.

P.s. Would the bumpers of newer versions (from the E46 facelift I think) fit my model, the bumpers that have the lips on the bottom? Thanks once again guys & any more info. required then please don't hesitate to give me a quick shout. Thanks again.

Yes the bumpers will fit mate no problem! And if you order some angel eyes of eBay it should have em with xenons already in them and they look awesome! And congrats on the BMW love them they do tend to do that with your face make it shine with happiness!!!

    Hey Niall

Cheers on the quick reply mate, appreciate the help. I'm on eBay as we speak checking out the lights lol. Found a site for bumpers etc too. All I gota do now, is wait till I get paid lol.

    Here's what I've found already...

    Angel Eyes
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_9262wt_1137

    Xenons
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_4627wt_1137

What I wasnt sure of tho was would I need the Xenons to get what I like to call "the pupil" within the eye lol. Oh and here's the bumpers I was looking at, thot i'd post em in case others were looking for them lol.

I like this one coz of the smooth lines...
    http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_i...4b1392acdbc96c

    This because it looks original...
    http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_i...4b1392acdbc96c

And this one coz its M3 like...
    http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_i...4b1392acdbc96c

This one seems to call out to me tho lol it keeps saying buy me buy me but then I see the 1st one again n go mmmm *drool* plus its bit different, aaahhh choices choices. What would you guys go for?

Anywho, my posts always seem like big spiels so beta say bye for now lol & cheers once again niall.

    that seccond link,
hid conversion - that may not pass MOT and will be illegal
HID's that you fit into your exsiting light units, will not be set up correctly so when it comes to MOT time it will fail on the lights, plus your exsiting light unit may not be able to take the extra heat from HID kit and melt :(

but the first link looks good, quite cheap as well,
i got LED angel eyes too and i apyed £140 for mine :(

    Hello mate.

Just got to say that if i were you i would definitely go for a second hand OEM factory part. It will be much stronger, better quality, and will bolt straight on.

Those other ones might look nice, but they are a bag of sh1t.

LED's will never fail, the ballasts might go but they will be pence to replace and arnt in the lights

the leds are bright but look great in the day
but at night they are a tad bright and i used a simple circuit to dim them with

Awesome guys, cheers 4 the advice, really do appreciate it.

And sam1832, already got your Angel Eyes Dimmer post saved

Saw a link in another post, brilliant guide m8, it's what I was going to do once I got the lights. Already checking out the components I was going to go get it all 2day but m8s getting married so was at his house helpin out all day long, absolutely knackered (the things we do for family & friends eh lol).

And the Angel Eyes...took the plunge & just ordered them, woo so excited
Cant wait to get them, once they're all installed & up and running, will try posting some pics 4u guys, show you what all your advice has helped to accomplish

Once again sooo many thanks guys really really do appreciate it.
Nw just gota go do anotha post & find out why an engine management lights just came on 2day (think its engine management, amberish light at bottom left looks bit like an alternator think it is lol aahhh lol).

Thanks again guys, many many thanks 2u sam1932, your advice has been immensely valuable, decided agents the HID Conversion
