Alright mate, I have wrapped me interior in carbon fibre and also my wing mirrors. I got them quite good to be honest. But I tried my roof, it took me around 2 hours to get about a 1/4 of it done with no creases or bubbles and that how far I got, I couldn't get it to follow the roof properly at all. Was a right nightmare.

All I can suggest is get someone to help you. Take your time doing it. Work from the rear of the roof towards the front. Try work from the middle of the roof to each side. Use ALOT of water, spray it all over the roof where your working the wrap, the more water the better, it will carry out the bubbles and creases... That bit I didn't know until a day or 2 after I wrapped mine up and put it in the bin.

Good luck mate, keep us posted about it! Am thinking about getting mine done again soon. My brother has just sprayed his while he was at work, gloss black on his silver golf and it does look really well, I just don't really want to go spraying mine, even tho it would be alot better, cheaper and cleaner job haha

was you using the 3m stuff ???

i dont think you can mess things up with this stuff. i done interior, wiper covers, fog surrounds and rear deck lid cover .

the 3m stuff is so easy to use. i would say anyone with 2 hands could do it . bubbles are easy to remove.

interested as to why you were using water. (i'm guesiing it wasnt 3m )

see ... and trust me i am no expert

I have done my interior with carbon, come up perfect, but I was using vinyl for the roof, that's why your ment to use water, it catches the air bubbles and pull it out as ya wipe over it...

When wrapping the roof do you have to take the rails off where you screw the roof rack on ? And at the windshield do you just tuck the wrap under the rubber seal and cut it under there ?

I just cut it as neat as possible to them and the heated it up a bit along all the edges I did to make it seal better, seemed to work a treat for what I got done, seriously considering to get some more wrap and get it done again...
