    I seen an e46 saloon with the roof black (silver car)
    Looked quite a tasteful mod (not chavved up)

    I'm not sure how it's done? (I suspect vinyl wrap)
    Does anyone know how to do it and how much it would cost. I have 2 e36 Compact M-Sports so would do both if viable.

    Yeah vinyl wrap sir... be a couple 100 quid i presume to get someone to do it..

    damn, I seen some on ebay for around £30 for a 2m x 1.5m length.The ad says its good quality. I didn't mind having a bash at it myself like

    for a first attempt at £30 i would buy a bit extra and practice on other flat surfaces too

    i paid 150 to have my e36 done , not long later i had full car resprayed plus m3evo kit fitted and got them to spray the roof black it looked far better than the vinyl should cost about 150 but well worth it
