I got a twin exit one done on my 1.8 Vectra C, from MIJ for £375. Sounded chavy. Has anyone got an m5 setup done on their e39 or m3 on an e46 so i can get your views or videos/recordings

I want it to be a full M5 replica but woried about what the striaght 6 would sound like, as the 4 cylinder 1.8 was awful ha.

its a sod to fit a 4 pipe set up on the non M5's mate because of the wheel well, can be done though, just avoid the cheap stuff. Personally i dont like it and its always seems like too much of a comprimise to me. plus i cant see how they flow as well as they usually have a very sharp 90 degree turn at the back

twin exhaust would look nice and make it a bit different, say e36 m 3 style

Yeah I'd go for a twin exhaust like Ralph suggests, looks good on the E39 and isn't very common so would be unique too
