just a quick question on your opinion's, should i stay with my clear indicators or go for smoked? i havent seen smoked in real life just on the web, are they pretty close to looking like the headlight shade or are they alot darker? cheers

My nephew had smoked on his e36 and they look the same shade as the headlights. the clear are too 'white' so tend to look a bit off, which is why I changed mine asap after getting my own car.

If you don't think the color match is important, then leave them, but if you want the front to look right, then get smoked ones.
