    ive just taken my car to a garage my dad uses, he has used him for like 20yrs or so....i have pretty bad rust on my drivers rear arch, for them to repair it...cut it out and weld a new piece of metal on and paint it etc...itl be £140 is that about a average price? i was thinking maybe like £80 but then again im tight

    Haven't had any bodywork done for a while now but i'd say £140 is a fair price (most of which will be labour!).

    Decent price and piece of mind too, if your Dads used them for 20 years then you'll be a 2nd generation customer, they will look after you

    thats a very good price. im having some work done on the rear arch on the drivers side. the paint has bubbled up to the size a bit smaller than the bmw logo on the key fob and the cheapest ive been quoted is £80.

    £140...thats CHEAP!

    I had a quote to replace the arches on my E36 and it was £170 a side, that didn't include any prep work or finishing. I had to do all that myself, AND supply the parts.

    I've since bought a welder!
