    recently just bought some m3 mirrors off ebay! couldnt let these go! mint cond. £50 electric and heated :-D....just they are currently in gold. my car is sienna red.....whats the best way to paint these mirrors..how many coats of primer/paint/laquer do you guys reccomend?? only thing ive painted before was my kidney grille's and they were pretty easy!!. on those i dod 2 primer and 3 paint 0 laquer.

    Ide say 2 primer 3 paint and 1 or 2 laquer..

    i hung mine up on string in centre of garage and sprayed around them in thin coats 30cm away . 2 coats primer dry in between . and 3 light sprays . and depending on the spray some dont need laquer but i do it anyway . just 1 even coat will do it . then let it dry . dont rush them and try not do them in too much cold . get a heater in there. be patient dont touch lol i also took the glass out just pings out then you do proper job then.

    really good idea about the hanging them by string :-D thats gonna really help!..do you recommend any kind of sanding prier to priming and what about in between coats or after laquer?
