Any particular favourites? The size of choice is 18 or 19's and anything with an offset of ET35 up to ET47 should be ok

E36 wheels would fit fine, generally E36 wheels are 17"s though which do tend to look rather small in the massive E46 arches..

As martyn says the favourites for E46s are 18"s or 19"s.. bear in mind with 19"s though your ride will be atrocious, take it from my experience!! lol!

I've just gone from 17s with fat donut tyres to 18s with stretched tyres.. IMO the ride has been largely unaffected.. slightly bumpier but nothing major!

staggered BBS RS-GT reps, here's a pic before I got my stretched tyres:

My car's lowered 40mm on the back and 50mm on the front, without the lowering even 18"s won't get anywhere near filling the arches!

wheels - £550.. then tyres on top of that

Good quality wheels though, can't fault them.. and they are serious head turners!

My friend has a set of 18" Original BMW style 108's (5 spoke split rims) from a Z4 on his and it looks real nice,
