now my fronts are how i want them ish, im gonns change the rear end as there abit dated with the orange corner piece , they just look old, im looking at the crystal style ones from the facelift model or even the led ones , whats ppl opinions on these , will the led ones cause a fault code sue to not having bulbs,

I changed mine on a 99 e46 front and rear and it changed the look of the car so much. I do beleive that the led upgrade does cause some fault code issues and set up probs but can be sorted. I am not sure what the cure is though. Is yours a saloon or a coupe?

Thats cool. I like the LED rears, I have them as standard on my E46 coupe and they are really nice.

Yes that is the right choice. I got the clear section at the top of the fitting when I bought mine but wish I had bought the later ones that you want. They do look better. My pic in the gallery under P, 'Is 3 too many' shows the front of my E46 after the change but not the rear.

I am not sure about the bulb holders. If the orientation of the lights is different then the bulb holders may need reconfiguring to match.
Funnily enough I have just put a set of rears on ebay but they are for a coupe. I bought them ages ago by mistake when I was looking for ones for my saloon. I paid £50 so hopefully I will get something near that for them. They are already bid for £24:99 item110510705919
