To add, you need new brake ducts if you don't have them already . Also, watch out you don't break the wiring for the ambient temp sensor when you are sliding the old one off.

You'll need new fixing bolts mate... I did this conversion to mine over Christmas, and whilst the bumpers are stupidy easy to remove, there are 2 main bolts holding the bumper on - best way to see them is to get on your knees, and look left & right underneath the numberplate. They're E-heads (like a torx, but external) which a 10mm socket goes straight onto.

When you remove the bolts, they're really long with a wide bit half way along them. You need 2 new bolts from BMW which are 1/2 the length, i.e. from the wide bit to the threaded bit.

Your old bolts will be too long - I couldn't even get them into my new bumper.

Your existing bolts look like No.4 in this picture, the new ones are No.5:

The part number is 51118229318, and you will need 2 of them. They're dirt cheap - £3ish for the pair.

Not over heat but does help cool them. Also, the ambient sensor attaches to the driver's side one iirc.
