My Car has the rare split fold back seat and sports seats at the front. The seats are looking very passed there best.

Iv been offered a new interior with either sports seats or standard seats.I find the existing sports seats very comfortable.Only probs is that my drivers side bolster wears at a alarming rate.As im not a youngster, and im probably a bit on the heavy side.lol

Would the standard seats with smaller bolsters be less prone to wear, and are they comfortable on long journeys.I cant make my mind up as there is obviously a difference in price..

Anyone got experience of both types ..

I would think all the seat bolsters are prone to wear out as quickly as each other....

So they both wear at the same rate of wear then.

Can anyone whos used both seat types comment on the comfyness of the standard seats in comparrison..

Is there a knack for getting out without incuring bolster wear? It only seems to have turned into a problem as iv got older..lol

i've sat in both and would say my sports seats are a tad harder to get comfy in than my mates normal seats

maybe investigate a leather refurb for your bolster...seen diy leather colouring and its come out well...a pro firm should get great results...and for cheaper than a 2nd hand interior i bet.
