    Hi all,

have spent enough time searching for a black leather armrest for my e36 vert ! I can find an armrest on it's own and i think i'm right in saying the armrest's are all the same ? but i need the black console ! I will be recovering the armrest also so not too concerned about the condition.

no joy so the question is if i buy the armrest on it's own which i believe is generic can i alter the existing centre console to accept the armrest ?

I know i may end up destroying it but it's no good to me if i need to replace it so it might be worth a shot !

    Thanks in advance
    mark

You won't be able to use the normal console to accept an armrest AFAIK as they've got a swively bit on the end. They'll always pop up on ebay and go from anywhere between £30-£60

i put one in my e46 saloon, the console is longer for the armrest and its looks like it has a different angle to it compared to the standard arm rest. Try quarry motors (forum vendor) i called them up and my armrest and console was in the post that day. sweet.

try quarry motors or fab direct, you should be able to source the armrest with the console from either one of these places and its simple to install too.
