    Hi all,

my M3 oem mirrors turned up off ebay, need to respray them and am trying to take them apart as i can see a loose cable behind glass, they dont seem to want to come apart and i dont want to force them so any advice greatly welcomed, also i think there is a mod to stop them being pinched !

anyone that can enlighten me please ??

    many thanks
    mark

I don't know how they come apart but I remember reading somewhere a guide that Rym made

If your repainting just mask the mirror up

mirror just pulls off...unless its been glued on,get something behind it to lever it off and watch the wires for the heating element
