Hi i have a E46 328i touring 1999, and want to lower my car, but this is the fun bit the wheel that i have on my car are the double spoke M3 E46 18" wheels (style67m) made by Ronal....

my wheel dont stick out of the wheel archs and i cant measure the gaps as one of my rears springs has broken so, can anyone please tell me how much i can safely lower my car, the tyres that i have are 225/45/18 and 255/35/18

secondly if the tyres that i have will cause problems would putting stretched tyres help?????

    please help

if anyone does have a answer please can you email your answer aswell as my internet is playing up

I'm assuming the wheels you have a replicas? 8j all round or staggered??

You will probably be able to lower it fairly significantly.. 40/50mm all round without any arch work..

Stretched tyres would give a little extra space but probably wouldn't be necessary unless you were slamming it!
