    Hi all,

New member. Recently bought a pristine example of an E36 M3. The only thing letting it down is the horrid wood trim on the dash, which isn't to my taste and looks out of place. Gear knob, dash surround, glove box wooden strip and handbrake grip.

Where can I get a replacement? as seen on other M3's, which I believe is black or carbon.

I've looked but can't find it anywhere.

    Thanks.

    Thanks guys,

I searched those sites you suggested rjb320, but no success.

    It shouldn't be this difficult!

Don't think i'd sell the wood when/if i get it replaced, want to have it as an option when i come to sell the car, which won't be any time soon.

    Thanks again.

    Hello,
Like M3Mint I have the same problem with wood trim which looks decidedly out of place on a Techno Violet/Silver Leather car.....

...any ideas anyone? want to replace without hopefully paying full bm prices...

    Thanks,
Kevin (newbie - to this forum)

Everything comes off easy enough. The glovebox trim just pulls off, the centre console trim just unscrews and the handbrake lever is only 3 bolts when you have removed the centre console...
You should be able to replace the lot with the standard E36 stuff for about £20 and 2 hours work....

Ive just replaced my standard stuff with the wood...

Thanks fellas, will keep my eyes open...I suppose the only M3 specific part is the gearknob?

    Thx,
    Kevin.
