I kind of hoping some of you guys can help me here ive been trying for a while to source an answer to this question!

Ive been going down the Euro route with my E36, And im after the Europe style fitments to make my indicators stay on all the time as sidelights and then flash when turning as they do in foreign countrys.

I understand i need twin filliment bulb, but after that im stuck!

Ive been on Real OEM trying to source the parts i need but no mater if you put in EUROPE or USA the fittments come up with the same two options, 2pol or 3pol plugs with sockets to match that the bulb fits in.

Do i need the 3Pol as i would tthink he 2pol is on and off settings for flashing and the 3pol is for on and off, plus sidelight function.. or is it not as easy as this?

Any help would be much appreciated thanks

    Roddy.

Yep, it would be a 21/5w (maybe 18/5w) bulb, with 3 wires to get the 5w sidelight and indicator working separately.

Yep, It would have to be, 2 pole would only be able to power one light.

Once you have the 3 pole bulb holder, you'll need a plug for it too, and wire it up to the sidelight circuit
