    how many greens shades off green did bm do i thought it was only boston green , painted my wing in boston green and its well out when i fitted it , (FIXED)

    You have to allow for some fading of the original colour, also BMW probably use a different base coat which will also affect the colour. Did you use a spray gun/compressor or a rattle can?

    Several...For eg Alpine white I,II and III however there are 3 shades of Alpine white III so there are many,many shades.
    BMW did more than just Boston Green and you'll find they did different shades of Boston Green too.
    Also take into account Fading,Basecoats colour,Laquer and its pretty hard to match up.....And finally depends where you got the paint from I have found that places like Halfaurds have different shades again of there car colours.

    deffo not just fade on old paint boston is not as dark as the original paint not a major prob but i should have checked the code and not assumed ,

    found the code , and thanks to a post on here st, helens auto paint to match it in a rattle can ,,
