hi all, new to the forum and learning loads already... Had a break from BM's for a while but back now with my '98 323iSE Touring.... Will get some 'before' pics up as soon as I can..
My questions are related to the suspension, which (as seems typical) is sagging at the back and needs addressing. So, I am looking at options and coil-overs seem to be a nice choice...
1/ Are they reasonably easy to fit and what parts would be expected to be replaced as 'good practice' whilst undertaking the install (ie bushes, mounts etc.).
2/ Do they need a lot of setting up? Obviously being adjustable they need to be set up so that the ride heights are the same on both sides of each axle so is this a reasonably easy task or would it be off to the local 'kwik-fit' type place for tracking etc.?
3/ Does anyone have any recommendations as to which kits to go for? I have seen a few on eBay but dont know how much difference in quality etc. they is between the kit here:
And something like this one:
There is a huge difference in the prices of them so I am guessing there must be something.... Anyone got any experience/horror stories/pleasant surprises about any of the above??
