    I've had my baby a year now and have just treated her to a refurbished set of 17" Schnitzer reps which look great.

    I have never polished her (only washed) and she looks a little sad

    I have next week off work and the family is away so i have a couple of days free to give it a good going over

    Now i have two buckets and a lot of 'normal' stuff (Autoglym Super Resin polish etc) but nothing more than that really.

    I'm after a bit of advice on what to buy, i'd love a machine polisher but cannot stretch to that right now i don't think so am looking at;

    Claying (have used Megs before)
    Polish
    Wax / Sealant?
    Black trim and Window rubbers
    Alloys and tyres (have used the Autogym sealant on the alloys but guess there is something much better!)
    Engine Bay clean

    I'd like a nice glassy finish that will last a long time as i don't get a lot of time to keep her polished up.

    Thanks in advance

    get yourself onto performance motorcares website, plenty of products to choose from there, you will save a good amount using one of their clay kits(alot cheaper than the megs),then i would use something like poorboys ssr1 topped with poorboys blackhole or white diamond(depending on the colour or your car) then finally a wax, probably some colli's 476s or 915 if its max durability you are after! you can also use the collis wax on your wheels and save yourself buying a separate product, as for rubber trim get some finishkare top kote, or poorboys bold and bright!

    colloinite is a wax,

    i would reccomend it,

    i got 476s very good, makes the car look awsome, been on a while now, and after every wash still looks as good as when it was waxed
