hi i'm thinking of lowering my 1998 e36 318is its is already runing the m tech suspension but i feel it sits slightly to high especially at the rear, just after peoples views and experiences of doing this wll it mess the ride up i know it will be harder but will it still drive well also what is best to use lowering springs or a coilover kit.
    thanks in advance

I used the Hottuning Coilovers,, cheapies on ebay!! They are really good, good things have been said about them on this forum.
Be aware of a few miner probs you may come across fitting any type of coilover!!
I payed £150.00, and took me and my bro about 4 hours, if done right!!
Dont do it on your drive way, you need a ramp!!

The ride is good, feels expensive!
    Looks awsome!!

I got tuning art coilovers off edwin (Hottunning) on here. You don't need a ramp, it's easily done on your driveway or wherever you park. Rears are easy peasy, just make sure you assemble the washers etc onto the new shocks from the old ones. If you get new top mounts for the front then you won't need spring compressors, I just used the ones already on the car.
