    some one on this site had dyed the parcell shelf of there car black, but i cant remeber who it was. anyway this is a mod i would like to do as the blue shelf in my car at the mo just dont look rite. anyone dyed theres and what did you use? i went to a fabric store today and the only dye they had was you put the fabric in the washing machine along with the dye, obviously i would have trouble putting the parcelle shelf in machine lol so what could i use or what did you use? thanx guys/gals

    On a wheeler dealer episode a while back Ed China used normal black spray.

    I just did mine with a can of satin black paint as well. Just lay it on thinly, and you will use a full can.....

    cheers lads think thats what i will do tomorow then. just trying to touch up all the lil bits on the car that need doing to make it look imaculate lol im abit of a ocd when it comes to me cars lol. just took wing mirror off today for a respray as it was badly scratched and paint was looking crap on it lol so ill be spraying that black tomorrow so may aswell do me shelf then also. any ideas on what i could do for the roof lining? would that be easyer to line with new fabric?

    just found this stuff looks good.

    http://www.fabricspray.co.uk/upholstery-spray-paint dont think i would spray the whole car like the bloke in the video tho lol

    Dont waste your money. I tried proper fabric dye first and all it did was make the shelf an even worse colour. The satin black did a much better job and was half the price....

    Normal rattle can spray for the parcel shelf? Doesnt it rub off? Sounds weird to use it on material? How long have you had it sprayed like that steve23002?
