After a moment of complete madness last month I washed the volcanic ash off my car without first hosing it. Yes I know it was stupid !!! They only excuse I have is I was hungover.

Anyway was left with swirls all over my paint work !

So on Saturday I sorted myself out with Meguairs ScratchX 2.0, Meguairs Stage 2 Deep Crystal Polish and Meguair NXT generation Wax. Taking advantage of Halfords 3 for 2 offer

3 coats of ScratchX 2.0, one of polish and one of the wax and my car looks amazing !!!!!

Swirls are gone and I have a showroom deep shine !!

Just felt the need to Share !

When I 1st got this 850 I used Maguires Swirl X with my polisher, must have cut through a layer of crap before a shine came through

    It certainly is good stuff

    Sorry no pics yet.

But take a look at the this link, this is where I got the advice for what I did. Wit. I did one section to compare to the rest of the car just like they did and the results where the same as the pics at the end.

Thats a pretty good product then, saves me whipping out the machine and making a mess. Just SRP'd and then 3m machine glazed the car. very impressive the only hard bits i'm finding to remove swirls are from the boot lid (very minor) and bonnet. The rest of the car is perfect. I'm thinking of going down to g6 then g3 but will give this scratch X a go before cos I didn't put much lacquer when redoing the bonnet and don't really fancy going through
