Trying to find info on changing the front end of my e39 to an M5 look.

i see various bumpers on ebay for anywhere ranging from £250 upwards. Taking into account i'll be getting a bodyshop to do the work, are they any good and worth getting?
any got any experiances or links to decent bumpers etc or are the ebay ones all the typical tat that you can get on there?

or anyone got a link where i can get the right parts without having to spend 0000's

    Hi,

Im doing this modification right now!

After searching various options i bought an M5 replica from ebay from a company based in germany.

    I paid £97 + £52 shipping for:

    M5 bumper
M5 fogs (there different to the SE etc so M5 bumper needs M5 fogs
    M5 front mesh
    Super bright bulbs
    Bumper trims

I was a bit nervous about it all, but the bumper showed up today and i must say it looks brilliant. Sure its not a genuine BMW one but once its painted and fitted i think you would have a hard time telling the difference.

As far as i know (and fingers crossed) the above is all you need if swapping bumpers.

Will update when i get it fitted etc.

can you get the link up please fella, as in to the seller. i've got uprated lights already so there ok, but rest will be needed.

have you looked at the arse end yet?

interested in bumper finding the bumper, might get the carbon splitter and also the exhaust.

Yeah will put the link up later on, i've been buying parts yes but fitting an M5 rear bumper really needs to have a matching M5 quad exhaust which is a major thing to do.

You can fit the bumper and fit a fake set of pipes to make it look like a quad but A: whats the point and B: doesnt do the pressure much good.

Besides i actually like the idea of the normal rear bumper without a visable exhaust
