    Hi folks,

Hopefully this is in the correct section...

Im itching to buy a boot lip spoiler but i have two options on the material, either a PUF one (not a clue what the hell this is?) or PU (polyurethan) one...

Any recommendations on which is the better material - price difference is minimal so it's not a factor.

    Thanks

is it the E46/E39 style lip spoiler you are after? If so, then I think both the above are the same. I bought one for my E36 from Ebay and it is a sort of frim/stiff rubber thing. They'll be exactly the same as OE spec. There are some on Ebay that come already sprayed in a BMW color, you just have to provide the color code to the seller when purchasing. They come with 2 double sided sticking strips already stuck to the bottom so you just peel off the backing and stick on your bootlid. The painted ones are 35 ish I think, come from Taiwan and take about 2 weeks to get here.

Yeah it's the E39 one but it's listed as being E46 compatible etc. I've ordered it already - went for the "PUF" one as the seller said it's basically the same as the OEM one. This one is unpainted though just primmed and has the double sided tape installed so my bodyshop will match it up and fit it. Cost me £25 posted.
