    as some people know got some rust on my archers work is slow so i thought i would give it a go and try and do them myself is i hard to do have been looking on youtube advice welcome

    I see you have metallic paint. It's a ******* to blend in with rattle cans. Did six rust spots on my car and three have come back again. Loads of advice on the net but it's still hard work when blending metallics.

    bill you aint gonna like what i say, but get it done professionaly, you love that car and you aint gonna be happy with bit if you do it yourself, unless your good at bodywork in which case i apologise

    Do the repairs......getting rid of the rust etc etc, then get someone to spray it for you, unless you are confident behind the gun

    Thats what i'd do blending in metallics is a knightmare I can remember my old man trying to do a repair on his rover 800 it ended up needing to go to the paint shop as the whole of the rear wing needed doing up to the rear door swallow your pride and let the pros do the work you'll be glad you did in the end if i have offended you my sincere applogies no offence is implied

    If you get this months total BMW there is a guide on repairing rear arches worth a read at least
