    Hi

I've bought an m badge to fit on my kidney grill but can't figure out how to get the grill off without breaking the tabs?

If i look in the engine bay I've taken off the 4 screws but there are 2 push pin type plugs that don't come off at the front of the engine.

If I squeeze/move grills I can get gem to move but not pop out

What is the secret folks ?

be hard but careful ! ! thats how its always worked on my two ! ohh btw take the plastic panel off with a bit of a pull so you can get one hand at the front and one in the back the grills are held together by male/female adapters bit of a wiggle and hey presto

Cheers, just so I'm sure the black cover type thing in the engine bay, just pull the plugs out

They look like they'll break if I do that or is that just me being a wimp?

Are you then saying once off then pull grilles or should I leave black cover in place and pull grills?

Sorry to sound thick but I'm good at that

if you think your gunna break anything that wont screw back down lol dont do it, wait till your at the garage and just say oh by the way kinda thing ! when i first did it i think i unscrewed everything i could of and then got fed up and pulled it off... the grills come out by wiggling and pulling ....

as for the cover you are talking about the cover between the rad and the very front of the car .. ?

The covet - if you open the bonnet then immediately in front of you in line with the kidneys is a black plastic cover with 4 screws and 2 plastic plugs that go into the body.

If I take all 4 screws off then the the top part of this cover flexes but the front part of the cover does not budge and yes it does cover the rad.

    Thanks for your help.

Shows how useless I am I was trying to fix one clip on a door trim and managed to break another

It's just a case of unscrewing the top and pulling mate he four screws is all that holds it on really and the kidneys sometimes you can pull them out from the front just push the centres through (they should push thru without breaking anything but sometimes the clips do snap I snapped just one of mine doing this out of I think it's 6) then reach in and do one clip at a time inside and they should all eventually fall out (annoying thought becouse u pull one out and another pops back in)
