    Evening All,

This is my first post so be gentle with me.

I am having a few problems locating the correct grills for my 323i SE

I am looking to purchase a set of Black/Carbon ebay replacement grills.

But there seems to be two versions available for my August 1997 BMW

I have already tried a standard set off another 1997 vehicle but they were not the same shape.

Here is a photo of my vehicle

The front grills were fitted by the previous owner and are not really my cup of tea.

Any help would be great as there seems to be a grill change over around 1996/97

    Regards
    Dave

Now this is what confuses me.

My car was registered August 1997.

Now most of the eBay grills refer to prefacelift as being pre 1996

I will get some close up photo's of my grill tomorrow

Yes, there are 2 types. The phase 1 were flat grills, the phase 2 bulged out. I'd assume the hole in the centre grill panel are both the same shape, just the shape of the grills themselves being different.

Yep, looks like you have the facelift grills on at the moment as StK says, so I would be sourcing facelift version grills, pre-facelift won't fit. I got mine from Ebay, if not you could try GSF or a local dealer
