    Hi everyone
    am new to this site and just bought my first BMW. am looking to buy some window tint for the front and back side windows,what do people recomend so i dont get pulled over by the police,

    Hi Paul,
    Anything more than a light smoke on the front is going to get you noticed by the police, I am having my car done today with dark smoke on everything behind the driver and clear UV reflective on the front windows.
    I think the law states that you have to have 70% light coming through the front windows, i.e. a 30% tint - I would check this with a more knowledgable source though.

    Yep 70% and what people don't realise is they are factory tinted so before even putting on tints you are only getting about 85% light coming in.The rears you can do as dark as you want and the front windscreen shouldn't really be touched.
