Just thought i'd ask the question, and find out if im the only one?

I dont want my hours of hard work on those polished lips to get ruined by our truely terrible winter weather ( Not that is ever really great in the summer lol )

Im looking for a set of contours , 3 or 5 series, got a few ideas for them..

Anyone else have a set of winter wheels or looking for some?

    A little discussion start maybe?

I did have some ACS type 2's as my winter wheels last year which I've just swapped with Spirit for another set of rc's. I'm planning on selling one set. Soooo I'm not gonna have winter wheels this year..
I honestly don't think it'll be a problem, I put the rc's back on in Feb this year then there was more snow, frost and gritters. I just gave them a wipe over every couple of days. They did start to oxidise and go furry but an hour with the autosul got them looking good again.

The only problem I can see for you is if you get some contours (especially 5 series et) then you won't want to take them off when winter's over..

Haha, i knowww what you mean

I suppose they could stick out the winter, but the gold on my centres look terrible dirty...

And yeah, about the contours... I proberbly wouldnt want to take them off.

As id have the centres painted montreal blue to match the car, with high gloss silver lips... My friend had a set of 3series contours on front and 5 series on back... Looked sweet, and they had white centres on montreal blue car...

Who knows... But im on the look out

Get some steelies! The trouble with both contours and Borbets is the fact that you won't be able to resist the temptation to polish the lips up, there for defeating the object... You know it's true!

My winter wheels are 18" CSL. They are going to be really good in the snow and ice....

I got.my standard 16" x 7 " all round with snow tyres on the back! Unstopable in the scottish winter! Plus if you go snow drifting and nail a curb like a did and buckle a wheel... its only 70 quid for a new one with a tyre and i got a tenner from the scrappys for the buckled one!

    They do look shit though!
