    i have ordered these HID's from ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    and after buying and confirming my make and model etc and now in process of being shipped, i receive an e-mail saying that these may not work on my car as i need a special adapter??

    has any on here bought this excat kit and did they work perfectly fine??

    also what adapter??

    help appricated asap guys just so i know before they show up and i have a set of hid's that are useless!!!!

    I can't see what sort of adapter that you'd need, only thing I can think of is to connect the wires to your original connectors which will be easy enough.
    Very cheap though, maybe to cheap...

    been told they might be referring to 18obc as some has the bulb function and may read an error??

    whether this is true i am not sure but i don't see why i need an aparter they are basically plug and play and they clearly state conversion kits for H1??

    You will need something like THESE, but wait and see first. The ballasts may be compatible with the OBC.

    cheers mate, i don't have a 18 obc so shoud fingers crossed be fine, yeah will check when they arrive hopefully next week,

    majority seems to be heading in the obc direction so i am assuming thats what they are referring to i have sent an e-mail to them but no reply yet as there HK but will see what they say aswell!!!!

    mine cost me 30 quid for my merc wen i had it.all the kits are pritty much the same nowadays newsays. its the ones that u a power feed from ur battery that throw up obc errors. iv just ordered sum h1 bulbs for mine kit so i can put em in my bimmer

    guys of a problem, my kid came everything is there etc but i have aftermarket headlights and the 2 wires red and black actually dont have anywhere to connect to??

    i have 2 wires blue and black (both male), blue connects to bulbs (female) and black to power the light (female)

    any idea's??
