    Could someone tell me if a pair of e36 coupe side sills i've seen would fit on my e36 saloon.

    Yes they will fit,I have M3 coupe ones on mine I assume you talking about the side skirts

    If you are talking about the kick plates - they are not interchangeable

    I've just changed mine and apparently the saloon and coupe have different doors.

    Yes i want to put them over the sills so i can colour code the car.

    you need to call them skirts because it will confuse people thinking its the door kick plates which are known as sills
