    Hi all now iv found out where my oil leak is coming from and will be sorted over the weekend what i want to no is is it ok to clean my engine down with a k&n cone filter on or should i put the standard box back on for this.i`ll be using engine gunk and a pressure washer and am i right in thinking that i have to have the car running when washing

    Lowering springs(done)
    Uprated brake hoses
    Uprated electric fans
    Inlet manifold conversion
    Alloy wheels

    Do not use a pressure washer in your engine bay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Seriously don't.Use the gunk stuff and rinse off with water..You don't need a lot of water either as it rinses off easily

    I've done mine a couple of times. As said cover things, filter/coil packs/ battery etc. Then pray it starts afterwards!

    Just use paintbrush and engine cleaner, and then give it a light rinse once youve covered everything.
