a few questions if you dont mind

put my leathers in today, theyre cool beans , but noticed that the airbag sensor underneath the leather front seats have different connectors to the cloth front seats? Now on the dash there is a little light with a person with a seatbelt on and a circle above, which i can only assume is an airbag warning.

is there an adapter you can buy to connect them? as i think if i leave it ill have A) no airbag, and B) will probably fail an MOT?

also, can anyone recommend a decent leather restorer as i want to get them proper shiney

    thanks in advance, BERT

hello mate had exactly the same happen to me last week you need to swap the front seat belt buckle(bit attached to seats ) from your old seats easy job only one 16mm nut the cable your talking about is attached to them be careful not to damage plug when you pull it through the seat base , then get your airbag light turned off by someone with a diagnostic tool mate give M3PUK a shout on here they are in hockley not that far from you they can turn your light off a lot cheaper than a stealership , give me a shout if you have trouble mate

Is there anything else you need to be wary of when upgrading to leather? I should be putting some leather seats in this week, is there anything else to be aware of?

Bert - was it easy fitting the new seats securely and properly?

I was very surprised at how easy it is to chop and change the interior on the E36's piece of p*** really! The only real hard job is the carpet

Cheers for the responses guys and sorry for hijacking some of thread Bert

As for leather cleaner/restorer, this site is good for all sorts of Car Cleaning and they've got several leather cleaning products to consider - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/cat_10.html

Also a mate of mine just bought some from another place that he says is really good, I'll try and found out what cleaner it was.
