i have a cosmos black e36 with full m3 kit. i have fitted HID lights on both the fogs and the headlamps, and fitted clear fog lamps, clear side indicators, clear headlamp indicators and removed the lenses from the headlamps to give a more blacked out look.

i also intend on turning the grilles black too. the car is fully tinted. im going for the whole stealthy/blacked out look. im also considering a light lamin-x tint for the rear lights.

problem is the headlamp indicators i fitted look quite tacky as they were a cheap set from ebay (oh forgot to mention, got clear indicator bulbs too, no yucky amber!) ... im trying to find a nice pair from somewhere but dont know where to look. i was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere good to look for a set? can you get them in whole units? so it all sits flush etc

also the angel eyes keep coming loose inside the lamps, so would like a set that have angel eyes built in

any other tips regarding the styling would be appreciated. cars been off the road for a while, i want to get her back and running and looking the part

You can get the headlights that are all one piece, and have built in angel eyes (ive got a pair of Sonar ones, that I don't use) No good for HID setup though (warning sticker on the back).
Check eBay (E36 Angel Eyes) loads on there.

Have you thought about blacking out the Indi's? I've got a Cosmos Black Compact, looks ace with them, but thats me

blacking out the orignal indicators may be an easier idea, the headlights do like ok as is, its just the cheap indicators from ebay make it look tacky. heres a slightly older picture of the car, ill get an updated one in a couple of days so you can see how shes sitting at the minute

i replaced the fogs with similar ones to these

and fitted 8000k xenons to both the headlights and the fogs. looks reallly well at night. evil as fuck

the car windows are tinted now also, as thats quite an old picture.

another problem is the angel eyes keep falling out of place. i think they were glued on with something before, but im guessing the heat of the lights when they warm up is melting it and they're movin around. anyone any suggestions to get around this?

im startin to think its probably a waste of money to buy lights. any tips on blacking out the indicators?

also, any pics of your car so i can see for reference, or any other pics even just to see

what about tinting the rear lights too ... reckon it would be overkill? i think a light - medium tint would work well!

I'm looking at tinting the rears. Maybe get some tint spray and just do it layer at a time till I get the effect I'm after.
Aint got any tips myself, as I just bought mine hehe. Fair few guides around the net though.

As for your angels, have you thought about a diff glue? I don't recall seeing any mention of other peoples fallin off lol. I'm thinking about ripping these Sonar ones apart, seeing if the angels can be removed from them and fitted into my standard lights.

If I remember tomorrow (today) I'll post up a picture of the blacked out Indi's. One needs respraying as its peeling in the corner but looks good for now.

    Hmm nice wheels

Slightly off topic but what do you use to clean your alloys? i've got exactly the same ones (19's) and the lip is really hard to clean.

im thinking it may be because the lenses have been removed from inside the lights to give a darker look. i dont want to use some glue thats gona end up stickin them forever tho! lol.

i was toyin with the idea of tint spray but i think lamin-x would be a tidier job tbh!

    http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/gallery/gunsmoke.htm

i was thinkin maybe that, or possibly the subtle tint!
