Ok im going to expect a bit of abuse on this one but here goes..
I Brought some LED rear lights for my car a couple of weeks ago and i ordered clear ones in the mind that if i want them smoked i can just tint them but if i ordered smoked and i wanted clear id be screwed...
I have come to decide i actually want smoked so iv ordered some tinting spray. I am not going to say im a professional sprayer but im pretty good with a rattle can so the spraying is not a worry for me, the only thing i want to know is weather or not to sand the lights first?? Obviously a VERY fine grit if i do but iv only just paid £170 for these lights and dont want to go at them with sanding paper if i dont really need to... Iv ordered 'E-tech Light Tinting Spray', Google suggests its a half decent tinting spray.
Just wondering if anyone can offer up any suggestions or pointers before i run into it and end up trashing my new lights.
Any comments good or bad will be appreciated.
