so my question is pps is the centre consol that houses the arm rest the same on a saloon as a coupe, my 328i has a beige leather and tan plastic and its hellish trying to find one that matches, i have found one in a coupe and want to know if it will go in my saloon.

just if anyone else wants to . lift the arm rest up there are some small plastic circles in black they are bungs and behind them are screws i got mine out with a needle . once you take the screws out 2 parts come away and you can then take off the old cover its melted on just rip it free . the new one will just slip over and you trap it and then put the screws back in there you go

I concur, coupe armrest will fit saloon & visa versa, and FYI 'verts and compacts are both different and won't fit
