    Hey guys,

    What everyone opinions on a carbon fibre bonnet, reason i ask if i stumbled across one at a good price whilst looking for replacement bonnet, my car is cosmos black, i reckon would look tacky.

    i dont know if it would look tatty but it wouldnt be very visable until u got close to be honest as the cosmos black is a sort of grey black anyway pretty much the same as carbon fibre but i could be wrong

    stk - do they really not? i guess anything a rep of anything never does :(

    Matt - I thought it would look subtle, which would be neat, a kinda mod where people really have to look for it

    I've never seen one that fits right yet-still maybe you can get one that does

    StK is right, they usually sit fine at the nose, but halfway along the wing they rise up a few mm, then level off again by the windscreen.

    Not really, they are flexible in a way, but not flexible enough to sit exactly OEM and stay that way.

    In honesty though, it's the same problem that everyone with a CF bonnet has, and most aren't too worried. Take a look at a few pics, you may see the slight hump in some of the pics. It isn't massive, but it certainly isn't as perfect as a BMW original.

    might buy it then, for 250 quid i can always sell on and ot lose any money, maybe? i thought it was a good price.
