My car has swirl marks in the paint some chips and deep scratches. What products can i use to polish it. The more I read on the net about polishing the more I get confused, they make it sound so complicated. please help..

I know because theres also different types of paint on different cars. Some paints hard somes soft. Plus Ive only just realised Tcut is a no no for our cars as they have metallic paint.

To be honest, from a detailers point of view its very hard to advise what is needed without looking at it first. Every car is different and requires manipulation of products we keep in to get them working properly for the correct end result. Its likely to need machine polishing, but you could try meguires ultimate compound by hand and see if it gives the results you are after correction wise.

If you are ever down this way mate, PM me, i dont mind taking a look for you and seeing what you have to work with.

Thanks thats very kind of you its appreciated. I think the year she has been stood has really taken its toll on her. Except for the e36 curse of rusty arches she used to mint.
