    Hi All, got my coilovers this afternoon, got a big problem

    on the rear springs i can adjust the height on on but not on the other one, it is solid will not turn i have placed the spring in a vice to turn the height adjuster, but refuses to turn, iam damaging the nut, even the spanner is not turn it

    the pic is what i have got but the rear springs have been used the fronts have not
    the question is can i just get a height adjuster by its self ???

    hey MetroReg....

    I would start by getting back to the people you bought the kit from... is this one of the HotTuning kits or did you get it somewhere else? It could be that this is a 'known' issue and they can despatch the required parts etc....

    I hate it when you get something like this and it doesn't go according to plan... shame as it looks like a pretty decent kit too....

    Bought it from ebay thought i could buy the height adjuster by its self

    nothing on there anywhere to indicate who makes the kit???

    I am sure there will be a place you can get them from, afterall I would be very surprised if the company who originally produced the kit actually took the trouble to machine all the parts themselves.. more likely that buy them in...

    dont know if this helps, was doing a little searching to see if I could find somewhere that does replacement collars but came across this:
