Hiya m8, why do you need to wet and dry them ? are they not smooth already ? when I got mine they was really smooth and even once I had primered them they was still smooth. I waited 5 hours and then sprayed the top coat (car colour) and I didn't bother with any laquer and they look mint! Shiny as hell and really smooth

Did you get cheap fibre glass ones ? I got abs plastic ones

read what it say on the cans-if you don't spray it in a certain time then you need to wait till they are completely dry before spraying them again or else the paint will bubble up and you'll have to start all over again

Just be careful and don't rush. Lots of thin coats as apposed to a few thick ones. If you rush it then it'll go wrong!

I'd just put loads of coats on, put them on your car for a week or so, then use some cutting compound on them to get any blemishes out, then polish!

I get paint mixed by a company in Norwich that I know. Your best bet is to google "car paints" then your area.
When I done the bumper on my old car (matallic btw) it looked alot different until I laquered it.
