    i thought the high beam bulb was on the main beam side,(the outer 2 lights?)if its definatley above the side light bulb then thats what it is then?

    High beams are the inner lights, directly above the sidelight bulbs, the large bulbs in the photo you posted.

    Hope you get it sorted - if not, and you're in the more southern part of Hampshire, let me know, I'll have a look if you get completely stuck, and I have a stash of spare headlamp bits.

    you were spot on foxy!! took the earth away, really appriciate ya help on this, it was an obvious mistake, but i no nothing about cars really, and when i read the how to do it, i didnt see where it said to put that wire, it was just the 2 wires they said to the inverter.. all done now. but when i put the lights on setting 1,(side lights) i get all 4 rings on then on 2 i get all 4 rings and the main? is this like all of you that have done yours?? i was expecting just the 2 rings on the 1st click then on 2nd click all 4 rings???

    Glad to be of service!

    And yes, sounds like it's working perfectly - it should be four rings all the time whenever the switch is in any position except off, plus whatever dipped/main combination you select.
