    Hello.

I've just bought a new mirror for my saloon.

The mirror itself is fine, it's just the case. I wondered if it's possible just to switch the case over?

Just found out, I won't be getting the mirror. Just the case, so will only be able to change the case. Thanks.

hi...you have to clip the mirror off and there is about 4 or 6 screws holding the back colour coded part on..just unscrew these and it comes off, screws can be very hard to unscrew tho maybe try some wd40 before turning the screw....hope that helps! :-D

    Thanks mate, I'll try that.

Was also told, as I'm not worried about the case coming off which is currently on there. I could just prize it off with a screwdriver and clip the new one on?

But the colour coded part of the back-case, as im not bothered about damaging the one currently one there.

Can I just pull the current one on there, and slot the other one on? I was told I could do this, or are you saying I can't as it's screwed on?

    Cheers mate

Erm, there ARE screws holding the cover onto the black section of the mirror. You need to remove the glass first to access the screws which are holding the cover on. You could try prise off with a screw driver, but you'll end up with squish marks on the black section.
