Can anyone help me? I have a 96 reg 316 and I'm after a black anodised or brushed alloy oil filler cap to replace the black plastic square one. I've polished and painted the valve cover and I'm in the process of polishing and painting the upper intake manifold but I feel the lump of plastic could be replaced with a better looking item. I've found some on Ebay but they all have either AC Schnitzer or the M logo on them and my car has zero ACS parts or influence in it and is nowhere near the M series as it's only a baby BM, so I'm after one without either of those logos on. I'm quietly working my way around the engine bay, tidying as I go.
Also I want to replace the two hoses connected to the rad with red silicone hoses but I would like to replace the piece of hose between the throttle body and the airbox with a red pipe too but there is a little plastic box that sits on the elbow and I have no idea what it does or why it's even there?? Is it important(considering it's just an empty box I doubt it does much)??
