Haven't sprayed a roof lining but I know RJB has sprayed his carpet but wasn't happy with the result and ended up buying a black one.Its touch and go I guess-It could work you'd have to spray it and see what happens.Maybe dying it instead of spraying but give a better result?

Damn. Thats a shame. They are a piece of piddle to swap over without a sunroof. I did mine and it was a pain in the arse. Have alook at a guys project thread, he has just covered his in suede and it looks awsome...

When I did the parcel shelf, I used a can of satin black paint and it did the job well. I first used proper dye, but it came out crap, and I had a much better finish with the normal paint...

Only thing is that I think it could be tricky spraying upside down. If you are not removing the sunroof, the headlining is fairly simple to remove to paint...

i remember doing a few parcel shelfs that was carpet like material and had good results thats why im thinking of painting it, but ive got my eye on a full black roof lining with all the trim bits not far away from where i live so i'll keep my eye on that!
