Hi all, How easy is it to remove an E36 coupe front wing? I am collecting a new one next week + hope to replace original that has rust. Can I just unbolt it?

    Many thanks,

Yes it just unbolts. There are a few though, need to open the door and undo the 2 bolts there. Then there are 4 under the hood and there are a couple that connect to the nose-panel and possibly other screws too but they are all undoable easily enough.Bit more difficult to put the wing on though to make it all line up again but easy enough if you tkae your time

    Thanks StK,

I have done stuff on cars before - but not as advanced as this - any tips for lining it up? + is it easy to change a door?

    Cheers

Just take your time. Its easier to change a door...undo the 2 bolts tha hold the loom that goes into the door then unclip the loom and then the door just unbolts.Again its harder to line it up properly so keep the spacers that will be by the bracket on where you unbolt the door ...Took me about 20mins in all to take the front doors off mine and put new ones on
