    I take it this comes with adaptors to stop the excessive movement of the knob.... ooo er

    Which type of knob is it on, is it oem or aftermarket as I may go aftermarket as Thayer usually come with grub screws to hold it in place

    This is the one I got, the silver slant top 5 speed with left and forward reverse print. Was £6.50 posted from ebay, brand new. Has a single screw at the front of the bottom of it. When you chop your ever down, you HAVE TO grind away a bit of the width around the lever to fit, the shaft is like 1-1.5 mm too thick to go into the bottom of the knob anyway, so theres no need for any adaptors.

    I'll take a pic from the side when I get a chance.

    The shaft CAN be chopped down shorter, but I reckon just taking off the 'fork' from the top is enough. Any shorter and your hand will feel too low down then.
