I have taken them all off at the moment. Last week the other side had condensation inside as well.

I will drill some holes later if it stays dry and put them back on.

    Drilling the back covers ...

I have just done this... as I have a fogged up driver side headlight.

drilled a few holes in each cover as it they look dry and dusty so cant see moisture seeping in ... will leave then both off till the condenstaion goes and then re-attach the drilled covers back on

Also using the towel on the front on the glass to retain the heat to give it a start..

    Fingers crossed.. will report back.

Yep, drilling the back covers should do it - I've never had an issue thankfully and I drilled the back covers anyway when installing Xenons.

    Cheers

I've lashed a hot water bottle to the front of the glass for the afternoon... less wear on the battery and lights... looks a bit naff but hey ho , should spped up the drying out time.

( memo to self: do not drive off without remembering) !!

I don't know is a foggy headlamp IS an MOT FAIL... but the hot water bottle worked well in under 2 hours

I use a pressure washer each time I wash my car every 3 weeks or so and I've never suffered condensation, didn't on my previous E36 either.
