    Do you just spray the grill with satin black spray from the likes of halfords or does it need to be primed first.

    i primed mine first but you would prob get away with a few coats of just the black. if your grilles are chrome at the moment tho make sure you give them a good rub with some emery cloth first to give the paint a key. come to think about it mine might be satin black to lol.

    Think I will paint mine black then if I don't like it I will buy a chrome one of eBay, although it says he doesn't sent to n.Ireland!

    Yea mate just wet and dry sand it then coupe coats of primer then satin black, matt black is to dull and gloss black is to shiney so i went for satin and imo looks the best. but each to their own.

    I just used black elec tape and taped up the grill and took pics from few metres away to get an idea :/ cheap idea to try ..helped me make my decision

    I think I will be going satin black looking at yours wilts, then I really need to get some clear indicators and repeaters, makes the car look so much better
