    Previous owner was a smoker - a heavy one!

    I have had a go with the usual can based upholstery cleaner that you spray on but it is very patchy - any advise on how best to clean it up in-situ?

    steamer chief.. or spray bottlle with upholstry cleaner sprayed lightly then rub it in and wet vac out..?? you can rent them out from somewhere..

    Vacuum the headlining thoroughly but gently first, then arm yourself with some of these...

    Followed by a few doses of Febreeze - works wonders for fabric that has been bathed in cig smoke.
